Cherry Burl Wood Tiny Cup

This piece is made from cherry burl wood that I foraged and harvested by hand and dried and processed at home. I turned it by hand on my lathe and filled in a few voids with neon and glow in the dark pigments. I really love how the grain of the wood looks on burls and this is one has some amazing patterns.

This cup may be small but it works great for holding toothpicks, q-tips or a crystal ball or round stone

The dimensions are 2″ wide and 2.5″ tall with a inner bowl depth of 1.5″ and width of 1.25 inches. the finish on the cup is teak oil
